In 1997, Erika from Colombia worked on a big ship. She wrote a note, put it in a bottle, and threw it into the sea.
Four years later, Diane found the bottle on a beach in Tasmania, Australia. The note was in Spanish. With help from other people, Diane understood the message. She reached (联系) Erika and they became friends. They wrote to each other for 25 years.
The other day, Erika flew to Australia. They met and walked on the same beach. They were very happy.
