赵心童创“三冠”新纪录
In the final of the 2026 Snooker (斯诺克) Tour Championship, Zhao Xintong beat Judd Trump, the world’s No. 1 player, by 10-3. He won his fourth championship this season. He also became the first player in history to win three titles in the Player Series in one season.
Zhao Xintong was born in Shenzhen, Guangdong in 1997. He first played snooker at age 8. His father took him to a club, and he fell in love with this sport at once. His parents encouraged him and bought him a snooker table when he was 10. They even hired (聘请) a coach to teach him.
Zhao is hard-working and brave. He loves snooker deeply, and he also misses his family a lot when he travels around for training and matches. When he feels homesick, he calls or sends WeChat messages to his mother. Talking to his mother makes him feel better and gives him more energy to keep going. He also likes to eat delicious Chinese food to ease (缓解) his homesickness.
Zhao became a professional player in 2016. He had some difficult times. He was once banned (禁止) from playing for 20 months. But he never gave up. He kept training hard and learned from his mistakes. In 2025, Zhao became the first Asian player to win the World Snooker Championship.
