When you walk around night markets in Asia, you can see many food stalls selling various snacks. Usually, most stall owners dress casually. But do you know there is a man in formal business suits cooking tasty food here? He is known as the “Stir-fry CEO” in Yantai, Shandong.
His name is Xiao Lu. He started helping run his family’s food stall at the age of 17. To stand out from other sellers, he first wore vests, and later began cooking in full business suits.
Xiao Lu starts work at 5 p.m. every day and finishes at 11:30 p.m. His family helps him prepare the food and sauces. He can sell around 200 servings of snacks every night.
He looks as cool as a cartoon chef. He posts cooking videos online and soon becomes very popular. Many people travel from all over the country to meet him.
Xiao Lu says people come out of curiosity at first, but it is the great taste that keeps them coming back. He loves his job and hopes to share positive energy with others.
