Hubei has started giving digital ID numbers to humanoid (人形的) robots. These robots are the first ones in China to have such special IDs.
Each robot ID is made up of 29 numbers and letters. Just like our ID numbers, each robot’s ID is unique. The system stores lots of key information, such as the robot’s maker, type and basic settings.
With the digital ID, workers can easily check the robot’s daily use, battery condition and repair history. If a robot goes wrong, people can quickly find out the problem and fix it. New users can also learn about the robot’s past use easily. This is very helpful if someone wants to buy or use a used robot.
Many local robot companies have completed the ID registration (注册). Their robots work in factories, shops and training places. This system helps cut costs and makes it easier to reuse robots.
