Have you ever looked at chocolate carefully? Does it look shiny? Does it melt fast in your hand? Adam Kaiser thinks about these questions every day. He is a chocolate maker who runs his own chocolate business.
Adam loved space and science when he was young. He studied geology (地质学) at college and later worked as an environmental consultant (顾问). The job was useful, but it never brought him joy. Luckily, the work gave him a good income to try new hobbies.
After getting married, Adam decided to follow his real dream. With his wife’s support, he learned to make and sell chocolate. He also worked in a restaurant to get more experience. Little by little, he started selling his chocolates and finally had his own workshop.
Surprisingly, Adam’s science knowledge helps a lot in chocolate making. He thinks making chocolate is just like studying rocks and magma (岩浆). The special properties of chocolate remind him of what he learned in geology.
Running a chocolate shop is not easy. Adam needs to deal with many daily business tasks. Still, he loves his work. He tells young people to follow their interests bravely, because every hobby may lead you to a bright future.
