Tami Avolia lost her son Travis five years ago. Travis had just learned that he was going to have a baby girl.
Travis’s daughter Milan is 4 years old now. Avolia wanted to do something special for her son’s birthday with Milan. She released(放飞) a “Happy Birthday” balloon into the sky. Milan also wrote a note(便条), reading, “Happy birthday, daddy. I love you. I miss you. And I never wanted you to go away.”
“Some days later, I found a package(包裹) from ‘Daddy in heaven’,” Avolia said. “A stranger sent it to Milan.” There was a note and three Christmas ornaments(装饰品) in the package.
“Milan was happy to see the gift,” Avolia said. “I want to say thank you to the stranger.”
