Mr. Joe works as a janitor(门卫) at a school. In the past four years, Mr. Joe walked to and from the school every day.

Students wanted to do something for him, because Mr. Joe helped them a lot. They collected money to buy him a new truck(卡车)! Mr. Joe didn’t know about it. Students covered(遮住) his eyes and took him outside. When he saw the truck, he was in surprise.

“Mr. Joe, we thank you for all of your hard work,” a student said. “We’re leaving school this year. We just want to thank you so you never have to walk again.”
