猫咪深夜提醒主人捉盗贼

Fred Everitt took a cat home four years ago. The cat’s name is Bandit. Last week, the cat saved his life.

Last Monday night, two young men tried to enter their home. At first, he woke up after he heard Bandit’s meows(猫叫声) in the kitchen. Then, the cat ran into the bedroom, jumped onto the bed and clawed at his arms. Everitt knew something was wrong. He got up and saw two young men outside his back door. One was trying to make the door open. Everitt shouted and the robbers ran away.

“It did not turn into a terrible situation(形势),” Everitt said. “ I think it’s only because of the cat.”
