Last week, a pink diamond(钻石) was sold in Hong Kong, China. Experts said the estimated(预估的) price was 21 million dollars. But the diamond sold for 49.9 million dollars.

The name of the diamond is Williamson Pink Star. It has its name after two famous pink diamonds. One is called Williamson. Queen Elizabeth II got it as a gift. It was for her wedding in 1947. The other is called Pink Star diamond. It sold for 71.2 million dollars in 2017. And it was the highest price ever.

Pink diamonds are very rare(罕见的), so they are very expensive.
