Four special albatross(信天翁) eggs have gone missing from Otago, New Zealand. They were found to be missing on Thursday morning.

Police officers are trying to find out why. They are watching cameras(相机). They are also talking to people who may know something. But it is still unknown. Some people thought that the eggs may have been taken by someone, because there are no signs(迹象) they were eaten by other animals.

People are in surprise, because these birds are protected in New Zealand. Workers feel terrible. They have put in so many hours caring for these birds.
