Gwen Maxwell is 85 years old. One day, she saw a puppy crossing the street. The puppy wasn’t moving very well. Maxwell wanted to help it. She got closer to the animal. She found there were cacti(仙人掌) in the animal! She also found the animal was a little coyote(丛林狼).

The little one fell down. Gwen ran to get someone’s help. Then Jose Soto and Shawn Bordine arrived to help! They began to conceive a plan to help the animal. They used a pair of gloves and a set of pliers(钳子) to pull the cacti from the coyote’s fur. At last, the animal was free.
