Patrick Hennessey is a kind young man. It was very early one morning. Patrick went to work in his car. He saw two dogs on the side of the road. One of them was injured (受伤的). Patrick called 911 right away.

Two police officers came. They were Boggs and Reed. They checked (检查) the two dogs. One was injured. But the other was well. She just stayed by her friend’s side. The two officers and Patrick worked together to help the dogs. They fed them some food and sent them to the animal hospital.
