The Young V&A is a museum. The museum is in east London. It was built in 1872. Its old name is the V&A Museum of Childhood. It is for children up to the age of 14. The museum hopes to let the young children enjoy art here.

Three years ago, the museum was closed. The museum spent £13 million to redevelop(改造) during that time. On 1 July, 2023, it will be open again. The Young V&A will have family-friendly exhibitions and free activities every year. The first exhibition will open on 14 October, 2023. 

Actor Emma Thompson said: “I’m happy to know that Young V&A—our first national museum for children—will be opening soon.”
