Gillian and Garth were working. They got a call. Their 20-month-old son, Waylon, fell into a swimming pool. He was under water for about five minutes. When he was pulled out of the water, he had no pulse (脉搏).
Waylon was sent to a small hospital. Everyone at the hospital came to help. Everyone from doctors to nurses and other workers took turns doing CPR (心肺复苏) on the boy for about three hours. Luckily, the boy made it. Two weeks later, he walked out of the hospital on his own feet. His mother was very excited.
The family then visited the doctors and nurses and other workers in the hospital. They thanked them very much for saving Waylon’s life.
