It is 2023 now. These days, an elephant in the Berlin Zoo draws people’s attention. Her name is Pang Pha.
Pha came to the Berlin Zoo 38 years ago. At the time, her caretaker(照看人) often fed her bananas. The caretaker usually peeled the bananas in front of her. Pha often watched it. And she learned to peel bananas by herself. She sometimes peels a banana before eating it.
People don’t know why Pha peels bananas. Maybe she likes the taste of peeled bananas.
