A special watch was sold at an auction (拍卖) in Hong Kong, China. Swiss company Patek Philippe made the watch.
The last emperor (皇帝) of China’s Qing Dynasty wore the watch. His name is Aisin-Gioro Puyi. We do not know when and how the emperor got the watch. But this type of watch went on sale in the year 1937. The emperor gave the watch to Georgy Permyakov when they were in the Soviet Union from 1945 to 1950.
The watch was sold for 6.2 million dollars. The auction lasted about seven minutes.
