Police say that a mother in the Czech Republic is suspected of killing three of her newborn babies. It surprised the whole country that a mother should kill her own dearest babies.

Spokeswoman Petra Vedrova said that police discovered the bodies after receiving a tip from medical workers. And the police thanked the medical workers for their carefulness and alertness.

Vedrova said in a statement Monday that the 25-year-old suspect was rushed to a hospital for treatment following her most recent delivery on Thursday. When asked about her families, the woman stayed silent and indifferent.

Acting on the tip given by the medical workers, local police hurried to the woman’s house and inspected it in the southeastern village of Dolni Dunajovice. They found the dead body of the newborn baby as well the remains of two others who were not twins. It is unbelievable that a young mother would do this.

If convicted of three murders she could face up to life in prison.

Police said the suspect was an occasional drug user but did not release any other details.
