Thousands of members of the Unification Church married in a group wedding in South Korea. Altogether, there were 3,800 couples from more than 50 countries.
The husbands and wives were mostly young people in white wedding dresses and dark suits.
Around 800 of the couples just knew each other only a few days earlier, then they decided to marry on this special day. The others were already married but they wanted to repeat their vows before the church. One couple even came over from Canada to take part in the wedding.
A man named Moon founded the church in Seoul in 1954, and it held its first group wedding in 1961 with 33 couples on that day.
