A family in America had a pet snake, they used rats to be the food of the pet snake. But something bad happened, a rat bit their baby boy. Very unlucky, the six-month-old baby boy died.

Police said the family took the baby to hospital right away. But it was too late, the doctors could do nothing. The baby died in the hospital after two days.

Doctors said it was sure that the baby died because the rat itself had terrible virus.

Earlier this year, also in America, three pet animals ran away from their cage. When the three pet animals saw a baby in her bed, they went up and ate her nose and part of her lip. The baby was only one month old.
