Do you remember the Success Kid, with a fist and a victory face?

That baby is now an 8-year-old boy named Sammy Griner. But something is wrong with his father—his father is ill and needs a kidney transplant. When people knew that his father was ill, they gave money to help the poor man because he is the father of the Success Kid. In five days, they got nearly $9,000. 

"It's just really amazing," Sammy's mother, Laney Griner said. Her husband, Justin Griner, 39, found there is something wrong with his kidney before Sammy came to the world, but now he is in great danger.

Although Laney Griner doesn't want to get money in the name of her son, but she is really worried about her husband. "By now, it's just out there. What am I going to do? It does help," she said. "The family needs him, the kid needs a father."
